The relocation done by Badgley Mischka (settling in Long Island’s North Shore) prompted the label to be inspired by an old yet timeless subject: The Great Gatsby.

The collection also emulates the same theme due to the over-all design being classical and vintage glamour. Though that is the case, there is still a modern twist with the collection due to the added details, ruffles and jeweled embellishment. The color palette for this collection also has a wide range from the classical color of black and white to elaborate patterns in gowns and casual dresses.

Another thing that defines Badgley Mischka is the label’s ability to fit a woman’s curve thus making the customers feel more feminine and sophisticated. This Resort 2013 collection is no different as women all over the world would be able to celebrate being women through these dresses from Badgley Mischka.
