Dolce & Gabbana is known for their flair in high fashion but are they ready to conquer the world of fashion for children?
Apparently, Dolce & Gabbana’s answer is a resounding “yes” as they are set to launch their first children’s collection by July, 2012. Stefano Gabbana discussed the label’s new line stating that “It’s a miniature version of our signature line”. Meanwhile, Domenico Dolce expressed that the designers did their homework as they wanted the collection not only to be stylish but also function. He described the process of designing this collection expressing the following statements:
“We interviewed all the mothers because the collection must be practical. We learned a lot, plenty of details. For example, it’s better to have sleeveless onesies and freedom of movement — kids don’t want to feel too constricted.”
The collection would include a wide range of design starting from underwear, beachwear, accessories, shoes, and a whole lot more. This is indeed Kiddie Couture at its finest.
