Swarovski Red Carpet Collection for Cannes 2012 Festival

Indie films and international movie stars will celebrate the 65^th Cannes Film Festival next week with Berenice Bejo as Mistress of Ceremonies and crystal- maker Swarovski will join the festivities by accessorizing the stars with their limited edition 2012 Red Carpet Collection.


The tradition of creating exclusive jewelry for the show started six years ago and each collection includes the coveted series of “Star Collector” bags previously modeled by the celebrities such as the glamorous Dita Von Teese. This year’s pieces include a necklace and hoop earrings set inspired by the 1960’s, a crystal encrusted mirror, “Aura by Swarovski” lipstick,  a “Starlight” bag embedded with 500 crystal and 2012’s “Star Collector” clutch, “Star Shadow.” Here is a closer look of what’s inside the high end goody bag:



Swarovski’s new bag will definitely put the celebrities on the spotlight as each of its 1,900 crystals deflects the cameras’ lights at the red carpet.
