Fashion label Burberry introduces a new fragrance, Burberry Brit Summer Edition, as part of its recently launched Spring Summer 2012 Burberry Brit White Collection. The label hopes to remind us of endless summer days with just a whiff of this new scent.
The new lime scent is similar to the unisex Burberry Brit perfume initially launched in 2004 and is available as Eud de toilette packed in 100mL bottles. The fragrance’s citrus is a mixture of Japanese green tea and Italian lime for the top notes, blended together with iced pear and green almonds to further accentuate the citrus scent. The mid notes are similar to the 2004 scent but with a hint of sweet almonds and peony. A woody, musky blend of mahogany and amber complete the base note. The fragrance comes in glass bottles inspired by the brand’s iconic check design and the color-coordinated with their Spring Summer 2012 palettes.
