Famous fashion brand Missoni previously collaborated with Havaianas in 2011 and the results were more than staggering. After the 2011 products were launched, the products were immediately sold out after 24 hours.
In line with this successful turnout, Missoni and flip-flop giant, Havaianas decided to collaborate again for another project. Their new venture would be called as Missoni ♥ Havaianas Collection. In this new project, both brands would be focusing more on having an “eco-friendly” range of flip-flops. The “eco-friendly” theme of the flip-flops is not only through design but also in the materials utilized. The flip-flops from this project are made from leftover rubber pieces from the manufacturing process thus having less waste for the environment.
The collection would be available on June, 2012. Interested customers can purchase these flip-flops through Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Missoni shops, and from the Havaianas website.
