Francisco Costa recently revealed that the designer is teaming up with Macy’s and launching a limited edition capsule dress for the brand. The campaign is entitled “A Magical Journey to Brasil”.

The collection features the designer’s minimalist design as seen in the clean shapes and pure lines in the dresses. Color palette for the collection includes guava, orange clay, warm cocoa, marble, cement, steel, iron, and black. Francisco Costa explained his inspiration for the collection sharing this sentiment:

“I started thinking about this Brazilian architecture that I’ve always loved so much, and a particular picture of the Museum of Modern Art in Sao Paolo was significant to the color palette. In it you see the pavement, you see the cement, you see all those colors, then you see the juxtaposition with the sun kissed colors on it. It’s cold and warm.”

The collection will be available in stores by May 15 and it will be sold at a reasonable price of US$135 – US$185.
