Burberry’s love affair with rock and roll started when Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey took the reins of the company in 2001. An avid music fan himself, Bailey incorporated the image, feel and attitude of rock music in marketing the brand be it on the runway, print ad or party stage. Obviously, the current Burberry Sunnies Campaign 2012 will be no different.
For the spring summer eyewear collection, Burberry will feature five British musicians to act as ambassadors by starring in music videos and in print advertisements. The artists, comprised of Marika Hackman, George Craig of One Night Only, Adam Pickering and Paula Walker of the Daydream Club and Life in Film’s same Fry will also exclusively perform in different parts of the world.
