The Coachella festival kicked off last Friday and the annual fashion and music event was attended by lots of famous faces ready to party with the massive crowd. Katy Perry, in particular, got everyone’s attention when she appeared wearing a Gothic ensemble and sporting long purple hair.

The pop star tweeted that she drew her Friday, the 13th Goth inspiration from famous 90’s alternative pop bands and movies like The Craft and Clueless.

On Saturday, the singer is seen wearing a sheer floral print dress paired with boots. Known for her loud and eccentric style, the singer accessorized her hippie look with an oversized brooch pinned on her chiffon dress, a flower garland on her hair, bangles and orange sling purse.
