Thousands of people gathered in the desert of Coachella Valley, California last weekend for a three-day celebration of music, fashion, food, culture and the arts. This is just the first installment of the Coachella festival since Goldenvoice organizers made the decision last year to host the event over two separate weekends.
For 2012 has an impressive lineup of 190 musicians from different genres and also features various interactive art installations. As for the crowd, everyone came with their best impression of hippie and bohemian fashion emulating the feel and energy of Woodstock in the 60’s. Colorful beads, cropped tops, tattered jeans, headbands, aviator sunnies and occasional feather headdress and garlands were the staple fashion items during the entire event.
