Florence Welch has captivated audiences around the world with her romantic and haunting harmonies and vintage-inspired wardrobe. Along with her band, she recently headlined the 2012 Coachella festival and performed songs from her latest album, Ceremonials. Florence’s penchant for 1970’s fashion makes her the perfect flower child for the event and her style greatly helped create the mood when she took to the stage.

Wearing a custom-made Hannah Marshall creation, Florence hushed the crowd with her rendition of “What the Water Gave Me,” and later engaged them to chant along with her towards the end of the song. Her movements onstage were enhanced by the chiffon batwing attached to her velvet bodysuit and the dress’s Swarovksy embellishments allow Florence to sparkle as the light hit the gems.

Hannah, the designer viewed the performance all the way from London and was extremely satisfied with her work. Marshall has cited Florence as one of her favorite muses for her ability to work with the clothes on every performance. She has previously collaborated with the artist on several editorials and red carpet events, as well exclusively designing Florence’s wardrobe for her “Drumming” music video.
