Atelier Versace revealed that they will be returning to The Ritz for their fall 2012 couture collection.
The Ritz Paris was the venue where Gianni Versace held his final runway shoe before his early demise. Atelier Versace started to return to the couture world after experiencing many business setbacks in the past. Donatella Versace expressed her sentiments about this stating that “It is with tremendous emotion that I return to the Ritz where I shared so many special moments with my brother. The closing of the Ritz Paris for two years represents the end of an era but also the beginning of a new one, so to be able to show Atelier Versace there one last time will be a memorable milestone.”
The Ritz Paris is set to be closed for renovations on July 31, 2012.
