Dior must consider the number “8″ as its lucky number because Christian Dior has most recently introduced this Dior VIII, the brand’s very glamorous watch collection. It’s not “Dior Eight,” according to the company’s publicist, it is more like “Dior huit” or eight in French.
Perhaps the company is a bit superstitious or considers the number lucky as the company’s flagship jewelry store is at 8 Place Vendôme in Paris and Dior’s headquarters are in the very glamororous eighth arrondissement.
The number of watches included in this collection is 16–which is eight times two. There are two sizes available for these glamorous pieces: 33 millimeters and 38 millimeters, or 1.3 inches and 1.5 inches.
