Louis Vuitton, a company whose name is known for designing luxury, has put up this Vintage Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk for Sale at $22,500. That may be a steep price to pay for a trunk but this one is not any ordinary trunk by the company.
Rich in history and character, this vintage and luxurious trunk boasts of the iconic LV monogram canvas on the luggage frame. It’s about 3.5 ft wide and 2.5 ft. tall, featuring original trim with marked metal latches, leather tags, beechwood slats and brass rivets.
This trunk is featured in Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks and is being auctioned by M.S. Rau Antiques in New Orleans.
