To say that Mary Katrantzou Fall 2011 has gone print crazy in this collection is quite an understatement. In its London Fashion Week show, the designer went wild with the prints and patterns over delicate fabrics like satin, velvet and chiffon.
It’s not so much about the design of the clothes anymore as Mary Katrantzou dares with patterns and prints that hardly match but still come out stylish and fashion forward. If you are to purchase anything from this collection this coming fall, you have to be able to stand all the jealous looks people will throw your way though, that’s just a bit of a warning.
Truly, this is one designer who understands what taking chances mean.
