Let’s say it outright: D&G’s runway show was quite different than most designers for fall 2011. To start off, D&G took it to a higher level, incorporating their graphic prints not only in the clothes of the collection but also the runway.
To say the least, D&G Fall 2011 was graphic. By graphic, it was obvious that it took inspiration from graphic design and urban graffiti. The collection is also very alphabet inspired with heavy alphabet prints not only in the fabrics but also in the accessories of the collection.
But aside from the very graphic design, most of the items in the collection pretty much stuck to a gray color palette.
