The world’s most expensive iPhone, the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose, has the attention of many for its elaborate diamond casing–and price.
Behind the exquisite iPhone is designer Stuart Hughes, who has a history of crafting luxurious high-dollar gadget pieces. Hughes also enhanced Apple’s iPhone 3GS and iPad before embellishing his latest creation, the iPhone 4, riddled with 500 individual diamonds.
Made primarily from rose gold, Hughes’ iPhone 4 doesn’t skip on perfection. Its Apple logo is composed of 53 diamonds. Most impressive perhaps is its navigation button, featuring a single cut 7.4ct pink diamond in platinum. An 8ct single cut diamond, which can replace the 7.4ct like an outfit, is also included.
At a price tag of $8,000,000, making it the most expensive phone in the world, the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose is not a phone easily replaced when lost.
