In full effect was Ferragoamo in its collection for spring and summer 2011 at Milan Fashion Week.
It was Massimiliano Giornetti’s second collection for women under Salvatore Ferragamo. The collection was inspired by Jacques Deray’s movie from the late ’60s, La Piscine.
Comprised of mostly draping dresses, jackets and pants, eccentric cutouts styled many pieces well but lacked excitement in the color department.
The collection was kept dull in color through many earthly and solid pieces. Though brighter ensembles saw the runway, there were few of them.
Ferragamo’s Spring 2011 collection might not do the best job of symbolizing spring by way of color, but the collection is fresh in style to say the least.
